Halloween Reading Challenge 2020
Give your kids/students a treat this Halloween!
Try the JoJo Halloween reading challenge!
The first of a series of reading challenges we will be running for your kids to enjoy this holiday season.
10-day 2-book-a-day #HauntedHouseOfBooks Reading Challenge.
How to participate?
Have your kiddo...
- Read, read along with, or listen to any two Chinese books each day from Oct 20th-30th.
- Each time they read a book, have them color one book in our haunted "House of Books" printable.
- Take a pic of the completed house and tag us on social media*(Insta: @jojo_learning or FB: @jojolearning).
*If you don't have social media or prefer not to use it, you can also email us the pic at email@example.com
We'll pick our 3 favorite posts/emails and send the winners the adorable Luka Shark Costume pictured below. If you don't have Luka, call it a stuffed animal costume :)
Regardless whether your child wins the shark costume or not, we recommend offering some incentive for them when they complete the challenge--whether it is an extra piece of candy on Halloween, a baking adventure with you, or a trip to the local bakery/dollar store, making an event of accomplishing this goal will help associate hard work with nice reward. Hope this may start a virtuous cycle of Chinese reading!
