Refund policy

Returns for Books, CD and DVD
If you are not completely satisfied with your product, you are welcome to return it within the first 60 days following delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in original condition.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

A partial refund will be granted to:

  • -Book with obvious signs of use
  • -CD, or DVD that has been opened
  • -Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 

Returns for Electronic Devices: Luka®, Luka® Hero and YouDao Pen

Electronic devices such as Luka®, Luka® Hero, and YouDao Pen can be returned in the first 30 days for any reason. In order to receive a full refund, the device should be returned in its original package (unopened and unused).

If the electronic devices such as Luka, Luka Hero and YouDao Pen are returned in an open box, a restocking fee of 15% of the item's original purchase price will be deducted from your refund. The returned open-box electronic should also be in good working order, and in its original packaging with all accessories. 

Charging a restocking fee for opened electronic devices enables our staff to check and test the device, and wipe all personal data. An open-box device also cannot be resold anymore. We appreciate your understanding for the 15% restocking fee!  

Following the initial 30 days, any Luka® with an equipment malfunction that can not be resolved remotely will be exchanged for a new Luka® device within the first year after purchase covered under manufacturer's warranty.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

For electronics returned in an open box (opened and used), we will deduct15% of the item's original purchase price as restocking fee.

If your refund is approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after 7 days from our confirmation email, please check your bank account or contact your credit card company to ensure the refund is not being processed on their end.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@jojolearning.com.

Clearance items
Occasionally, surplus items in original quality will be sold at "CLEARANCE" prices.  No item marked as "CLEARANCE" is eligible for a refund.

Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your item, please contact us at support@jojolearning.com to explain your situation and we will gladly help arrange a solution.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver notifying them of your return.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Trackable shipping services will help guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
