
Lon Po Po 狼婆婆 (láng pó pó)
Chinese-born American author, Ed Young, won a Caldecott gold medal for this retell of an old Chinese folk tale. Three girls stay home while their mom goes to visit their grandmother. A wolf, claiming to be their grandmother, knocks on the door and beckons them to let her in. The eldest and wisest daughter sees through the wolf's plot and creatively convinces her younger sisters to help her outwit the wolf.
